Iran's Book News Agency (IBNA) 23 Oct 2021 - 15:22 -------------------------------------------------- Title : Iran's stand at Frankfurt Book Fair introduces Prophet Muhammad's ‎biographies -------------------------------------------------- IBNA- CEO of Iran's Book and Literature House Ayyoub Dehghankar said the special ‎‎section of Iran's stand at the 73rd Frankfurt Book Fair has been devoted to presenting ‎‎the biographies of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).‎ Text : The measure is taken due to the concurrency of the birthday anniversary of the holy ‎prophet with the 73rd Frankfurt Book Fair ‎which opened on October 20 and will ‎run by October 24, public relations office of Iran s Book and Literature House reported.   Dehghankar said: "Biographic books on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in various languages are showcased in the special ‎section of Iran s stand in the 73rd Frankfurter Buchmesse with a support provided by the cultural deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. These books have been welcomed by the visitors."   "In this edition of the fair representatives of our country s publishing industry such as Society of the Publishers of the Sacred Defense; Association of Publishers of Books for Children and Young Adults and the Association of Tehran s Publishers and Booksellers as well as three literary agencies active in international publication have attended the event and are negotiating to introduce and sell the rights of Iranian books to international publishers," he pointed out.   CEO of Iran s Book and Literature House went on to say: "Among the other measures adopted by Iran s stand at the 73rd Frankfurt Book Fair are introducing Iran s Book of the Year Award; Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF), Tehran Virtual Book Fair, Iran s Book of the Year World Award; the Grant Plan as well as the Top Plan of Iran s Culture Ministry aimed to promote the translation and publication of Persian books into other languages."   This year’s edition of Frankfurt Book Fair is held in both forms of physical presence and virtual After a "virtual break" due to COVID last year. Canada is the guest of honor of the event.   With 2,000 publishers from 80 countries presenting their books, the 73rd FBF has welcomed trade and business professionals until it opens its doors to the public over the weekend, but only to those who are vaccinated, have recovered from COVID, or present a negative test. The number of visitors will be limited to 25,000 a day. The motto of this year’s fair is “re:connect”.
