IBNA- From the series of Iran-China Cultural Dialogue, an Iranology congress will be held in the 6th edition of this event on October 19 and 20.
The announcement of the Iranology congress reads: "Regarding the long history of relations and cultural ties between Iran and China as well as the increasing status of China in the international scenes, it seems necessary to deepen the mutual knowledge and understanding in the academic milieu of both countries."
The congress will be held by the newly established Chinese department of Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran which will pave the way for better communication and interaction between Iran and China as well as providing scientific and cultural opportunities for the academics of both countries.

The 6th Iran-China Cultural Dialogue will be held within the framework of the agreement between the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences to consider the cultural dimensions of multilateralism in the two great civilizations.
By now, three editions of the event have been held in Beijing and two others in Tehran.
