TIBF the best opportunity for cultural interactions: expert

IBNA- A cultural expert of the Sultanate of Oman said in the 34th Tehran International ‎Book Fair that this event is the best opportunity for cultural interactions particularly ‎among the countries of the Middle East Region. ‎

Speaking to IBNA, Montaser Al-Maamari stressed said: “Tehran International Book Fair is one of the largest book fairs where many people visit annually and it receives a good reception.”
He pointed out: “For this reason, the Sultanate of Oman is interested to participate in this fair every year. In the 34th Tehran Book Fair, representatives from three ministries, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs have participated here as each ministry is showcasing their works at this fair.”
Al-Maamari said “We have brought a total of 1,200 book titles to this fair, out of which 500 book titles belong to the Ministry of Culture of the Sultanate of Oman. These books cover various topics, mainly focusing on the history of Oman, religious subjects, arts, linguistics, literature, and other related fields.
“Our participation in this cultural event has given us great pride, and we are delighted by the remarkable reception of the people at our stand. He also mentioned that due to the close cultural ties between Iran and Oman, these two countries can easily and effectively interact with each other. So, it is better to establish more cultural platforms between Iran and Oman,” the cultural activist added.
With the motto, "The future is readable", the 34th Tehran International Book Fair ‎opened on May 10 ‎and will continue until May 20. Tajikistan is the guest of honor in this ‎edition of the TIBF. The fair is held both by physical presence in Mosalla (Grand Prayer ‎Ground) of Imam Khomeini, ‎and virtually on https://ketab.ir.
