Free courses of indexing manuscripts for digital libraries and online websites will be held during the last month of spring.
IBNA: According to the public relations department of the Open Treasury for Islamic Manuscripts, the executive manger of the website of the Open Treasury for Islamic Manuscripts Seyyed Ali Moujani said: "The courses will be held according to a joint agreement sealed between seven specialized centers. As the sessions conclude the participants will be granted a diploma endorsed by the centers."
The educational courses will be held with the cooperation of the Open Treasury for Islamic Manuscripts, the Center for the Great Islamic encyclopedia, Library and document center of Iran's Parliament, The Grand Library of the Great Ayat Allah Marashi Najafi, SAVAMA in Mali's Timbuktu, The Kashifalgetaa institute in Najaf as well as Mauritania's Scientific Research Institute.
The courses will be held on codicology, graphology, manuscript's components, bookbinding, illustration as well as studying texts.
The participants should be fluent in Arabic (till the 4th volume of Basic Standard Arabic's series), know computer as well as software. Moreover they should send their complete information to email@example.com by May 5.
