IBNA –The representatives of Iran’s Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (CIDCYA) successfully negotiated 30 experts at the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair to sell and buy the books rights.
According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the Public Relations and International Relations Department of CIDCYA, 250 books were presented at the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair by the CIDCYA Press.
Based on this report, the International Relations Department of Center has introduced the Center’s books of the past fifty years, recent pictorial books in 2016 and the books published in English in the past fifty years, in three separate catalogues.
On this basis, CIDCYA Press had recently republished some of its old and valuable books which also served as a guideline to design the stand and display the books at Frankfurt Fair. Items used for display were also taken from the books illustrations which were offered to interested visitors at the Fair.
Among other activities of this stand was the unveiling of the books ‘Hasti’ and ‘Kati Kati’ by Farhad Hassanzadeh.
Also, in cooperation with the Iranian Embassy in Germany, reading ‘Shahnameh’ based on the book ‘Indian Parrot’ and musical play of ‘Two Children of Muslim ibn Aqeel’ were performed at the stand of the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
Regarding the copyright, representatives of the CIDCYA met with the publishers from Italy, China, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Brazil Germany and Switzerland.
More than seven thousand publishers from around 105 countries participated in the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair.
