Iranian Book News Agency (IBNA)

The Iranian Book Agency (IBNA) is the first and only specialized web-based news agency in the world that produces news on books and publication. It was officially actiated on 24 Aban, 1385(15 Nov. 2006) and it is an affiliate to the Book House Institute.

The Book House Institute is a non-governmental, non-profit and cultural organization.

The agency's main goal is dissemination of national and international news on books and at the same time covering all other issues such as publication, edition, distribution, etc. of books.

In IBNA (www.ibna.ir for Persian and www.ibna.ir/en/ for English material), news is presented in different categories: print, religion, literature, thought, technology, social, history, teen, art, etc..

Republication of the content of this website is permitted conditioned to including IBNA as the source.

Besides news, IBNA publishes reports, interviews, and analyzes different the performance of the Institute concerning books and other reading stuff.
