Market review 208 literary books, 29 translations
During June 19-24, literary publishers released 208 literary books including 29 translations of which 7 were debuts. IBNA: According to the statistics released by the Book House Institute, beside the translated books, 179 compilations and poetry books existed as well.
Some of the translated books which were translated or re-printed were; "The Good Stalin" by Victor Erofeyev which was translated into Persian by Zaynab Younesi, "Fire on the mountain" by Anita Desai rendered into Persian by Azar Alipour, "Agnes" penned by Peter Stamm and translated by Mahmoud Husseini zad, "Hamlet's Gardens" a poetry collection composed by Asghar Nouri and converted into Persian by Hamzeh Kouti, " Le desert de l’amour" by Francois Mauriac, converted into Persian by Asghar Nouri, "Four short stories" which holds works by Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, Leslie Charteris and John Steinbeck and " Maltese falcon" by Dashiell Hammett both trasnalted by Hassan Ziadlou.
On average 2095 books were released and 235 pages were printed.
