During 3rd Govn't Cabinet Trips Ratification of budget for mobile libraries
In the third provincial circulation of the government cabinet, it was decided that a needs-analysis study should be launched regarding the libraries of the province. Right now there are 11 rural libraries and 31 urban libraries in the province. IBNA: General manager of public libraries of Hormozgan told IBNA that the third round of provincial trips of government cabinet led by the president Dr. Ahmadinejad was finished last week with a number of cultural decisions for libraries of the province.
During the trip it was decided that a part of the cultural budgets of the province be allocated to establishment of mobile libraries in villages with a population of over 1000 and completion of half built libraries in the province.
Moreover, allocation of the desired credit for setting up the Internet connection of the libraries for facilitation of book transfers was agreed upon. Bahram Pourashraf added that during the second round of government\'s provincial trips last year, construction of the central library of Bandar Abbas with 35 billion rials credit and establishment of Bandar Lengeh library were also ratified by the Cabinet.
As it was decided the Bandar Abbas Library will begin to operate by the fulfillment of the 5th development plan.
He further asserted that by the opening of Persian Gulf library on September 17, 2010, the library spaces per capita of the province will reach from 1.5 m to 7 m for every 100 library clients. Id : 64891 |
