Given the vast call for Da, Iran’s mostly-published book in history, by Baluchis, the book is to be rendered into Baluchi language for the speakers of the language in Iran’s Baluchistan and the neighboring countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

IBNA: According to the Soreie Mehr Publications, Saeid Mehdizadeh, head of the Howzeh Honari administration of Sistan-Baluchistan Province, said that rendition of the book into Balochi language was put on Soreie Mehr’s agenda after talks between the administration, head of the Howzeh Honari and manager of Soreie Mehr Publications.

The work is supposed to be released by the end of fall, he added.

As he said, Da is one of the most honorable works in Iran’s publication history and its Balochi rendition can be used by Baloch people in Afghanistan and Pakistan as well as a first step to cultural interactions with these people.

Da is an oral history book based on Zahra Husseini’s memories compiled by Azam Husseini. The book’s 148th print-run was marketed last month.
