The writer resorted to 10 memoirs about the December 7 events like memories of Dr Mostafa Chamran, who was a university student then.

Moreover, a memoir by Ali Akbar Siasi, the then chancellor of the Tehran University, is another reference the writer referred to complete his story in which he tells about the violations of the Pahlavi regime against students during the December 1953 days.

In other news, Masoud Amirkhani, secretary of the Revolution Days Series, has said that 25 new revolution titles will be published addressing children and adolescents by the Office of Children’s Literature at Howzeh Honari.

On December 7, 1953, a protest was held by Tehran University students against Nixon’s visit from Iran and the reopening of the British embassy. During a crackdown, three students of the College of Engineering of the university named Mostafa Bozorgnia, Mehdi Shariat Razavi and Ahmad Ghandchi were killed.
