IBNA: the writer in this book makes a survey of various aspects of Roosevelt's life, his political career, his obstacles, happy life, his experiences as general commander, presence in WWII, arrival in America, post-war America, and the last days of his life.

The book is accompanied with pictures of different stages of Roosevelt's life. Simple prose, biographical calendar, and description of terms are positive features of the book.

Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States (1933 – 1945) and a central figure in world events during the mid-20th century, leading the United States during a time of worldwide economic crisis and world war.

The only American president elected to more than two terms, he facilitated a durable coalition that realigned American politics for decades. He worked closely with Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin in leading the Allies against Germany and Japan in World War II, but died just as victory was in sight.

First released in 2006 in English, the book is written in a way to be appropriate for audiences of various reading groups.
