Afghan writer’s “Devil’s Hand” to release next two weeks
The book “Devil’s Hand” written by Azizollah Nahofteh, Afghan writer resident in Kabul will be published within the next two weeks. The novel narrates the life of men facing war and its peripheral problems in Afghanistan. IBNA: Mohammad Hossein Mohammadi, editor of the plan for publishing Afghan writers’ works in Iran, said “Devil’s Hand” is published in line with this plan by Afraz Publications; he added, “Devil’s Hand is about Afghan people’s social and emotional obsessions in recent decades and related part of contemporary history of this country”.
Mohammadi added, “Nahofteh is a young Afghan writer whose novels like “Mirror’s Narration” and collection “Illusive Figures” was welcomed in Afghanistan.”
Editor of the plan for publishing Afghan writers’ works in Iran said in response to a question of the writer’s use of local Afghani elements, “Nahofteh writes in a simple language and his language is very close to Iranian prose. But some stories are written with a local approach to the beliefs and customs of Afghanistan people.”
According to Mohammadi, Nahofteh has previously published his first novel “Stones and Sharks” and some collections of poems.
The book “Devil’s Hand” by this writer will be published by Afraz Publications by the next two weeks and it is about 136 pages.
