“Half of NL night clients are women”
Almost half of the applicants for the night services provided by the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran are women. IBNA: According to the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the library’s research section has been received well by researchers since its establishment almost a year ago.
Since then, almost 1,112 researchers have applied for the night shift of the library of which 1,068 researchers are currently enjoying the services provided by the library.
Based on the numbers released by the organization’s information center, during Khordad (the third month in Persian calendar, May and June 2012), 158 researchers came to the library during its night shift of which 63 were female researchers.
Interested researchers can reserve their chairs for their studies by an online application.
