Minister of culture and Islamic guidance Mohammad Husseini will meet some 250 judges of the book of the year Award in a gathering held to praise them for the first time in 27 years, said Ojabi secretary of the award.

IBNA: Ojabi asserted that after 27 years the award needs to be revised in some parts. He said this is the first meeting arranged to pay tribute to the judges of the award in 27 editions. 

He said the bylaw of the award should be revised for some defects; some amendments have been made to the bylaw that must be endorsed by the supreme court of the Cultural Revolution to become practical. 

"There has never been a chance to gather all the judges of the award in one place given the fact that they play important role in the organization of the award," he added. 

He posited that the gathering will give the judges a chance to personally display their views and stances with regard to different issues with the culture minister. 

The gathering will be held on February 28, at Tehran's Laleh Hotel.
