Secretary General of the Foundation of Iran’s Public Libraries marked Iran’s Constitution Revolution as an important spot in the country’s history.
IBNA: Information about over 3,000 books on Iran’s Constitution era has been mustered in a digital encyclopedia called the Constitution.

A ceremony was held at the community hall of the Public Culture Council in Tehran to unveil the program in the presence of Gholamali Hadad Adel, head of the Persian Language and Literature Academy, Mohammad Reza Akhzarian Kashani, executive manager of Namayeh Cultural Institute and Mansour Vaezi as the ceremony’s special guests.

In his addess, Vaezi asserted that Iran’s history is not merely the history of a single country; rather it is the history of human civilization.

He parted Iran’s history into 4 eras: before Islam, from the emergence of Islam to the Safavids, from Safavids to the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Revolution era.

“Iran made up for the most important part of the human civilization during the first era,” he added. “During the period most of the people in the world practiced idolatry while Iranians were monotheist. Iranians came up with the marvelous human rights charter while humans were blissfully denigrated in other parts of the world.”

Elsewhere in his address, Vaexi highlighted Iranians’ role during the second era in expanding Islamic teachings after it was emerged from Hijaz.

Later in the ceremony, Mohammad Reza Akhzarian Kashanitive, executive manager of Namayeh Cultural and Information Institute, stated that over 3,000 book titles on the era and the scanned view of up to 14,000 historical documents are placed in the software.

Besides, as many as 570 specialized articles and 1,500 pages of historical articles published during the Constitution era are covered in the program. Moreover, 2,000 pictures and over 3,000 minutes of documentaries are added into the collection.

He went on to say that Namayeh Institute acts in the three paths to facilitate research grounds for researchers especially in humanities, meet the needs of public library clients, and addressing the Leader’s instructions in cultural grounds.

As Mohammad Reza Akhzarian Kashani said, the program consists of 15 DVDs entailing subjects like history, documents, photo galleries and movies about the Constitution era.

The leaders of the Constitution, the role of colonialists in the Constitution era, Tehran’s being during the Constitution era, literature and arts during the Constitution era and documents are some of the discussed topics in the book, added Kashani.

The unveiling ceremony of the program will be held this evening parallel with the anniversary of ratification of Iran’s Constitution.
