Scientific secretary of the Award of book’s criticism said that criticizing books has vital role in developing a country’s written culture. Moreover it separates good and bad works.
IBNA: Ali Ojabi said: “I believe that when the field of book’s criticism is active, precious books will be identified.”
This year the 9th edition of the Award of book’s criticism will be held, he said and added: “This will be the second year in which we will hold the festival in winter concurrent with the Research week. During the previous years, the award was held in the Book Week but considering the week’s programs and the significance of the Award of book’s criticism we decided to hold it during the Research week.”
The scientific secretary of the Award of book’s criticism added: “During the 9th edition, last year’s articles presented in the field of humanities, practical sciences, mere sciences and etc… will be evaluated and the writers will be honored during the closing ceremony.”
We are currently gathering the articles and the interested individuals can submit their works to the award’s secretary by the end of summer, he noted.
Every edition holds a sideline program as well in which we try to praise and honor a veteran of the criticism field as well as a journal which is active in the field, Ojabi said.
The festival evaluates e-articles as well which can be sent to naghdeketab.ir.
The assessments of the electronic works are done separately and during its last two editions, winners were introduced in the fields of architecture and fiction, he added.
