Sunshine: Imam Khomeini’s Biography is compiled by Ali Akbar Zakeri and is published by the Bustan Ketab publications. Arranged in 17 chapters, the book encompasses imam’s life from his birth until the 1979 Islamic Revolution of Iran.

IBNA: Imam Khomeini’s education in Qom, campaigns, teaching, attacking Feiziyeh and Imam’s capture, imam’s expulsion to Turkey and Najaf, Bakhtiar’s premiership, formation of the Revolution Council and Shah’s escape and Imam Khomeini’s return to the country and the victory of the Islamic Revolution are some of the topics dealt with in the book.

The work briefly highlights some of the spotlights in imam’s life like his campaigns against the Shah’s regime and his stance during the Islamic Revolution.

The book is arranged in 827 pages. 1,200 copies of the book have been printed and marketed in Iran by Bustan Ketab publications.
