Kazem Motamed Nejad:
Officials should pay heed to researches

During the commemoration of Mehdi Mohsenian Rad, Kazem Motamed Nejad asked the Deputy Culture Minister for Press to pave the grounds for the publication of "Criticism in Iran's press".
IBNA: The 7th Electronic Public Relations Conference was held in Tehran's Olympic Hotel on Sunday, May 13.
Commemoration of Mehdi Mohsenian Rad, author and translator of more than 12 communications and public relation's books, was a part of the ceremony which was attended by Kazem Motamed Nejad, the father of Iran's communications, Mohammad-Jafar Mohammadzadeh, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Press and Information as well as the field's noted professors.
Kazem Motamed Nejad expressed his gratitude to Mohsenian Rad saying that since more than 40 years ago Mohsenian Rad has been working in the field and I think that this commemoration had to be held 30 years ago.
He added:" Since 1971, Mohsenian Rad is being working in the field of communications in national, regional and international levels and has presented precious scientific works."
During the past recent years some of his books including "Iran, Among Four Communicative Galaxies" and "Communicology" have been released, he added.
More facilities should be bestowed to him through which he could have managed a researching center. Some 20 years ago Mohsenian Rad decided to establish a Media research and studies center which failed to happen, Motamed Nejad noted.
Figures like Mohsenian Rad are isolated in the society and I am asking the governmental officials to pay more attention to the progress of communications and public relations which will vanish otherwise, he added.
Moreover he said that the support of different institutes can help the field's researches to be accomplished and organized.
In other news, Motamed Nejad asked the Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Press and Information to pave the way for the publication of "Criticism in Iran's press". The book is written in three volumes and holds the researches of Mohsenian Rad about Iran's press which can be the basic of great research works.
