  Islamic Golden Age owes Iranian scholars

Author of "Persia's cultural civilization services to Islam" Farough Safizadeh said:" The initial years of Abbasid era, called the golden age of Islamic civilization, profoundly owes Iranian physicians, philosophers and scientists.
IBNA: The House of Literati's history group's session was held Sunday evening on evaluating "Persia's cultural civilization services to Islam" which was attended by history researcher and critic Omid Ataee, poets and critic Seyyed Mahmoud Sajjadi, the book's author Farough Safizadeh as well as the meeting's secretary Khadijeh Masoumi.

Farough Safizadeh, researcher and author of 340 history book titles said:" Martyr Motahari had penned a book named "Mutual Services of Iran & Islam" which accounts of the mutual services of Iranians to Islam."

Philosophy in the world developed from Iran and according to archeology findings urbanism and science are originated from Persia as well. For instance civilization entered Greece when it was a part of Persia. Even Plato and Pythagoras have admitted that they owe Persia, he said.

The history researcher added:" Prophet Mohammad (SA) has esteemed the dignity of science. The Prophet doesn't belong to a specific tribe and he is indeed a bliss for the world. Prophet Mohammad (SA) appeared during "Days of Ignorance"( Jahiliyyah; an Islamic concept of "ignorance of divine guidance" or "the state of ignorance of the guidance from God" or "Days of Ignorance" referring to the condition in which Arabs found themselves in pre-Islamic Arabia) in which he presented science."

He went on to say that the service Persia offered to Islam in the field of culture and civilization is obvious till the 4th AH century. We can even claim that the emergence of Renascence in the west owes the Iranians.

Furthermore he said that Seyyed Jafar Shahidi and Ali Shariati believe that Shahrbānū wasn't the last daughter of Yazdegerd III's and she never married Imam Hussein (AS) however the History of the Prophets and Kings(Tarikh Tabari) and has pointed out to such an issue.

Jondi-Shapour University presented Iranian scholars and philosophers to the world and then the books of Iranians were authored in Syriac language and translated into Greek and they were again rendered into Persian. Iranian scholars including Avicenna wrote their books in Arabic since it was the science language during those days.
