“Arts book of the month” evaluates the necessity of publishing Iranian art
The 167th issue of “Arts book of the month” has been released holding articles about Islamic architecture and environmental graphics. IBNA: The note of the magazine’s editor in chief is about the necessity of publishing Iranian art. Moreover it holds a report about the Meeting about the aesthetics of the mosque of Isfahan which was held in the 25th Tehran International Book Fair.
The magazine has evaluated different books including “Encyclopedia of Iranian carpets”(Ahmad Daneshgar), “Completing a hand-woven carpet”(Seyyed Ali Majaee), “The elements of Japanese design”( John W Dower, translated by Sahar Qadimi), “Illusion in nature and art”(Richard Langton Gregory, translated by Parto Eshragh).
The work holds articles including “Symbol of the snake’s role in ancient civilizations” by Saeed Bagher-pour and “Symbol & Archetype”(by Martin Lings, translated by Zahra Abdullah).
The 167th issue of “Arts book of the month” has been released by the Book House Institute in 136 pages.
