Released in Persian Grammar of the Film Language 5th edition
The 5th edition of Daniel Arijon’s “Grammar of the Film Language” translated into Persian by Abbas Akbari, was published. The previous edition had been released in 2009. IBNA: Daniel Arijon’s “Grammar of the Film Language” is a book to address new filmmaking facilities like digital cameras and how to make movies with less costs.
“The Grammar of the Film Language” is taught in many faculties of the world. The introduction has been written in 1975 and it has taken 20 years for the author to complete it. Besides directing, the issues of scenario writing, shooting and producing are also discussed in the volume.
The fifth edition of the Persian rendition of Daniel Arijon’s “Grammar of the Film Language” (translated by Abbas akbari) is published by Niloofar Publicatinos in 706 pages.
Akbari is a translator mainly working in the field of cinematography and directing. Among his other translations are: Jurgen Wolff’s “Successful Scriptwriting”, William Goldman’s “Adventures in the screen trade: a personal view of Hollywood and screenwriting”, Linda Seger’s “Creating unforgettable characters”, and William Froug’s “Zen and the art of screenwriting”.
