Iranian Institute of Philosophy (IRIP) will mount a conference entitled "Mind, logic and computation".

IBNA: According to the public relations department of IRIP, the conference will be held on the occasion of Alan Turing's 100th birthday anniversary.

Alan Mathison Turing was an English mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst, and computer scientist. He was highly influential in the development of computer science, providing a formalisation of the concepts of "algorithm" and "computation" with the Turing machine, which played a significant role in the creation of the modern computer.

Turing is widely considered to be the father of computer science and artificial intelligence.

The conference is slated for Saturday, June 23 in which figures including Zia Movahhed, Amir Ehsan Karbasi-zadeh, Rasul Ramezanian, Mohammad Izadi, Mohammad Ardeshir will deliver speeches.
