Among the ECO member countries and the Middle East, National Library and Archives of IR of Iran (NLAI) has grabbed the first rank of serving. Following Iran, Turkey's Library was ranked as the 2nd. Iran's librarianship experiences were affective in extending working hours of Turkey's libraries and reducing its holidays.

IBNA: Pointing out that considering the world's top libraries' experiences, successes and serving deficiencies and establishing a department for the news of Iran and the world libraries and archives in NLAI were great steps towards the achievement, the international affairs and PR manger of NLAI said: " The individual section of libraries and archives news explores the news websites of all international archive, culture and science centers as well as library information dissemination pages to find news pieces."

Hamed Yari underlined:" In the international part, the foreign archive and libraries' news will be observed while in the national section domestic news centers will be considered."

In the first phase, some 10 news pieces will be found by the organization's experts and following translations they will be uploaded to the website, he added.
