The first edition of "A Glossary of disaster management" a book by Dr. Gholamreza Poorheidari and Ashraf Sadat Mousavi was published in Iran.

IBNA: "A Glossary of disaster management" presents new ways to find the terms needed in the field of disaster management and related subjects.

Penned by Dr. Gholamreza Poorheidari and Ashraf Sadat Mousavi the first edition was edited by Hossein Sharif-ara.

The glossary includes over 3500 words and phrases as well as clear explanations about the terms. Moreover it covers related abbreviations and acronyms.

It pays attention to related subjects, particularly natural and hand-made disasters.

Authored in 382 pages the book was released by Iran Helal Institute of Applied Science and Technology. The debut was released last winter in 3000 copies.
