Kashanology library to be established

Manger of Kashan's public libraries said that research and scientific sources related to Kashan are being collected and completed. A specialized library is to be established accommodating books related to Kashan studies.
IBNA: Mehdi Karimi said:" So far 2000 books related to Kashanology have been gathered and uploaded to www.kashanlib.ir."
He added that many researchers and scholars have asked for the books. However a limited number of works were available we learned that considering the city's history, several books have been compiled and some of them were released in English as well.
Moreover many old related books were ignored and if they weren’t collected they would have been destroyed, he noted.
According to Karimi, the photos of Kashan's scholars, their biography, works as well as explanations about the city's cultural, scientific and cultural figures have been gathered as well.
Kashan is a city in and the capital of Kashan County, in the province of Isfahan, Iran.
