Niavaran Palace’s books to be registered
The property registration of more than 4000 works of Niavaran Palace’s special library’s magazines and periodicals has been kicked off by the Cultural Heritage Organization.
IBNA: According to the public relations department of Niavaran complex, Parvaneh Ahmadi said: “More than 4000 volumes of the special library’s magazines and periodicals are being registered.”
The curator of Niavaran library added: “Most of the works are foreign and were printed in France, U.K and the U.S. and related to 1960 and 1970. The works include Times, Newsweek and Economic.”
She added: “Several Persian text books related to the children of the Pahlavi family as well as the booklets of the official visits and the family’s trips as well as Persian magazines were among the works.”
The special library of Niavaran Palace is house to some 23000 book titles mostly in Persian and French covering subjects including literature, history and arts.
