Bahman Dorri, Cultural Deputy of Guidance Ministry and head of the 25th Tehran International Book Fair, said promotion of foreign products at the book fair is prohibited in the year of National Production, Support for Iranian Labor and Capital.

IBNA: Dorri said that the decision has been made in line with the naming of the current year as the year of National Production, and Support for Iranian Labor and Capital by the Supreme Leader.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei names the year at the turn of each year.

In other news, there are a few stalls without no exhibitors in them that can still be rented for display of cultural products, added Dorri.

The 25th Tehran International Book Fair is being held at Tehran's Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground and will run through May 12, 2012.
