The first National Publication Confab is slated to run July 19, 2010. The confab was postponed several times but its final date was announced at last.

IBNA: Secretary of the first National Publication Conference said: "The conference will be on assessing issues and problems of publishing fields as well as the industry's challenges."

Dr. Ali Farazmand added: "Subjects as Publishing management, Publishing rights, Publishing economy, Modern publishing technologies, Electronic publishing as well as Education and Research are some of the main topics which need to be addressed in the conference."

He went on to say that the industry suffers from many software problems and the conference will be a great opportunity to assess the problems and present methods to overcome them."

The first National Publication Confab is slated to run July 19, 2010 in National Library and Archives of Iran.
