A conference was held yesterday (March 7, 2012) to unveil Strategic Management with emphasis on Economic Jihad and From Jihad to Jihad.

IBNA: The conference was held in the presence of the Majlis speaker Ali Larijani, Dr. Ebrahim Hassan Beigi, chancellor of the National Defense University, and a number of government officials and academics of the university.

In his opening speech, Larijani censured western powers for application of double standards when dealing with matters like nuclear energy and support for Israel.

Also, Hassan Beigi delivered a speech on the importance of optimization of economic activities in the country.

As he said, such conferences are aimed at providing the technical grounds for removing obstacles of the economic Jihad to reach the requirements of the 1404 vision statement of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"The conference seeks to bolster research efforts on heightening national productivity," he added.

Later in the ceremony, Strategic Management with Emphasis on Economic Jihad by Reza Baniasad was unveiled. The book assesses Iran's economic traits in 11 chapters.

Also, another title was unveiled. From Jihad to Jihad by Hassan Firuzabadi is arranged in four chapters and discusses issues about the jihad in the Islamic Revolution.
