The head of Tehran's Union of Printing House Owners said 574 national and foreign companies have registered for the 17th Tehran International Print and Packaging Fair which is slated to run September 13-16, 2010.

IBNA: Ali Nikoo Sokhan said: "More than 518 active companies in the field of lithography, binding and producing cartons will participate in an area of 1,200sqm."

Moreover he added that 46 state-run companies will display their abilities in various printing fields.

Foreign representatives will attend the fair from countries including Austria, Germany, America, England, Taiwan, Emirates, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, India, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Poland and etc.

As seminars and workshops will be held on the sidelines, Nikoo Sokhan added: "The seminars will be held in order to expand and boost the audience's practical and scientific information."

17th Tehran International Print and Packaging Fair is slated to run September 13-16, 2010 in the permanent grounds of Tehran International Fairs.
