Iranian publishers' prepare for World of Islam Publishers Summit
Secretary General of the International summit of Publishers of the World of Islam said Iranian publishers are considering an initiative on the programs of the summit. This will be the first summit which is arranged to be held during May 2010 parallel with the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair. IBNA: Dr. Ali Zare'ei said the initiative will be developed in a conference in the presence of university lecturers and managers of large publications in Iran.
Also serving as a presidential advisor, Zare'ei added the conference is aimed at preparation of domestic publishers for the first Publishers of the World of Islam Summit.
"Expansion of professional exchanges among Muslim nations is one of the goals of the summit," added Zare'ei.
He went on to say that the several policy-making and scientific sessions have been held addressing the summit and different cultural centers in the country are preparing themselves for the summit.
He said the initiative includes all the state and private publishers in Iran. The conference will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010.
