The 2nd conference on Preventing Disabilities in Children was held during March 2012. The presented papers to the conference are published as a book.

IBNA: The conference was arranged by the Education for the Disabled Organization and was aimed at boosting awareness about disabled children and pedagogical methods for them.

The conference was held in line with one of the foundational missions of the organization to disseminate information about measures to prevent disabilities in children before, during and after birth.

The latest findings and studies in the field were presented in the conference and teachers and tutors exchanged information about the conference themes.

Informing parents about their child’s auditory disability, the role of periodical examinations of ear, throat and nose in children with hearing problems, hidden disabilities: difficulty in learning, health care of the disabled, and the role of local games on social growth of mentally-disadvantaged students were some of the presented papers and articles in the conference.

1,500 copies of the book are published by the organization.
