Latest report on British Iranians released
British Iranians is the theme of a series of studies led by the Islamic Culture and Relations Office (ICRO) about Iranians residing in the UK. IBNA: According to the public relations office and information center of the Islamic Culture and Relations Office (ICRO), the studies show different numbers of Iranians outside of the Islamic Republic of Iran. A recent census indicates a 4 or 5-digit number for British citizens with Iranian origin.
"Assuming this number in our considerations, many scientific, economic and cultural potentials in the Iranian society abroad need to be fathomed out," reads a part of the introduction of the book. "The potential can be sought to build Iranian identity in foreign countries. Give the lack of field studies in this regard, the General Administration of Iranians' cultural affairs outside of the country in the ICRO has set up a series of studies on Iranians outside the country."
The report will soon be published by the ICRO as British Iranians: Immigration and its Cultural Aftermaths. The book is compiled by Reza Afkhami. Id : 119881 |
