NLAI to host Int'l Conference of World Philosophy Day
National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI) will host the international conference of World Philosophy Day from November 21-23, 2010. IBNA: According to the public relations department of the international conference of World Philosophy Day, the conference's executive secretary, Mohammad Hussein Imani Khoshkou, said that the international conference will be held in the national library.
Explaining about the choice he said that considering the requirements of the international conference to hold scientific and specialized programs in different halls as well as holding a fair of philosophical works the national library was picked up.
Iran is the first Asian country which will host the conference of the World Philosophy Day.
The conference will be held on on: "Impacts of Islamic philosophy on medieval era's philosophical thoughts", "Connection of Islamic philosophy and moralities", "Philosophy and culture", "Philosophy and the human's future", "Philosophy and politics", "Philosophy and religion", "Philosophy for children and teenagers", "Philosophy and technology", "Philosophy and spirituality" and "Philosophy and arts".
