Afghan students to be trained at Iran's national library
Head of the Afghan national library said training courses will be held for Afghan students at the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. IBNA: According to the public relations office of the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Makhdoum Rahim called for training of Afghan librarianship students in his visit from the organization. His call was endorsed by Eshagh Salahi, head of the national library by signing an memorandum of understanding.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran will provide Afghans with its experiences and expertise in librarianship, codicology, archiving, cataloging and dissemination of information about library reserves," said Salahi in the visit.
As he said, Iran enjoys the biggest library in the region and researchers of the Persian speaking countries can enjoy reading its references.
