The Conference of "Persian manuscripts and printed books in the subcontinent"
will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Bagh Ziba complex. IBNA: According to the Written Legacy Research Center, during the conference, Dr Aref Noshahi (Pakistani codicologist) will be honored and Moeinodin Aghil from Pakistan, Sharif Husseini Ghasemi from India and Kamrani Fani from Iran will be the keynote speakers.
Dr Moeinodin Aghil will deliver a speech about the history of lithography in the subcontinent of India . Moreover, Hussein Ghasemi will speak about the role of Monshi Nol Keshvar in printing books in subcontinent of India .
Besides, Dr Natalia Ivanova will talk about the meditative culture in European’s understanding of Iran (Persian books in India viewed by Iranologists).
Other speakers of the conference will be Mohsen Jafari Mazhab, Najdat Nusun, Dr Akbar Sobout, Dr Hassan Anousheh, Dr Mohammad Hussein Tasbihi and Dr Esmat Darani.
What is more, a number of books concerning the theme of the conference will be unveiled during the event.
The conference is jointly arranged by the Written Culture Research Center, Islamic Parliament’s Library, Museum and Document Center, the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Persian Language and Literature Academy and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
