New books added to specialized Revolution libraries
Curator of Specialized Islamic revolution and Iran's contemporary history library in the Art Bureau said:" 350 new book titles have been purchased and added to the library sources." IBNA: Raouf Goharian said:" The Specialized Islamic revolution and Iran's contemporary history library have communicated with Tehrani publishers throughout the year and their newly published works were purchased. Tehran International Book Fair was a great opportunity to identify and purchase works of provincial publishers."
Since 350 book titles were purchased from the 24th Book Fair he added:" Most of the books are themed on the Islamic Revolution and the Pahlavi era. Moreover considering the library's approach towards the contemporary history some documentary books of the Qajar era were added to the library as well."
Goharian added:" Some 12,000 book copies, as 9000 book titles, exist in the library. Annually some 400 book titles are added to the library."
He said that 90% of the library sources are in Persian and the rest are in Arabic. Id : 108568 |
