Iran Electronic Publication Co. has presented the first automatic book sale machine in the 25th Tehran International Book Fair.

IBNA: In an interview with IBNA, one of the salespersons of the company at TIBF stated that they are running a stall at the world market section of the book fair to introduce the product to all state and private organizations in and outside of the country.

As Saeideh Asraei asserted, they have sold almost 70 of the machine so far in the book fair and are promoting its features for a better sale.

She went on to say that the machine is designed in Iran but is assembled outside of the country. However, given the recent currency fluctuations, the company is planning to set off its production line inside the country.

“The fair is a great opportunity for introduction of the machine to the public and different institutions and I hope we will be able to convince all foundations that the machine is a good help for enhancing book-reading hours in the country,” she added.

The 25th Tehran International Book Fair is being held at Tehran's Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground and will run through May 12, 2012.
