I put 20 years of my Quranic experiences into the book, says writer of Methods for Memorization of the Holy Quran.
IBNA: Mohammad Sadegh Zare'an told IBNA his book assesses reasons and ways for memorizing Quranic verses and chapters.
"I began working on the book in 2003 and am in the final stages of the book's preparation," said Zare'an.
He said the current works on Quranic memorization are not scientific enough and only about 10% of the presented techniques for memorization of the verses are proper for learners.
He went on to say that his work begins with explanation of why Quran should be memorized and then moves on to discuss techniques and methods for memorization of the Holy Quran.
As he said, the Islamic Hadith abounds with instructions by Imams about memorization of the Holy Quran. "What is more, by the book I have proved that all Quranic words are light which find meaning only when memorized," he argued.
The book tries to adopt a visual technique for its memorization methods and claims that it is by watching the humans can memorize things.
The book will be published by Darul Quran Al Kareem Organization.
