The head of Tehran's Union of Printing House Owners said that 520 state-run and 38 foreign companies have registered for 17th Tehran International Print and Packaging Fair which is slated to run September 13-16, 2010.
IBNA: During the press conference of 17th Tehran International Print and Packaging Fair which was held Sunday morning, Ali Nikoo Sokhan said: "14 foreign representatives will attend the fair from countries including Austria, Germany, America, England, Taiwan, Emirates, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, India, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Poland and etc.
He added: "As the 16th and 17th fair are being held with a 6 month gap fewer foreign companies have registered as the fairs are held in less than a year."

He went on to say that during the fair, China, India and Sweden's print affairs governmental officials will present their latest print and packaging achievements and innovations.

He underlined: "The national companies will sprawl over an area of 11,000sq.m and an area of 855sq.m will be allocated for foreign companies."

As 2 seminars and 2 workshops will be held on the sidelines, Nikoo Sokhan added: "The seminars will be held in order to expand and boost the audience's practical and scientific information."

As Turkey and Tehran Print Fairs will be held simultaneously he added that Turkey would not attend Tehran's fair but these sorts of problems will be certainly solved for the future.

He went on to say that besides all the sanctions, print field's artisans are doing their best to hold the fair in a high quality level.

Talking about the fair's location, the head of Tehran's Binder's Union said: "The permanent grounds of Tehran International Fairs dates back to 45 years ago and it suffers from lack of the modern fair standards."

Jalil Ghaffari rahbar went on to say that the location isn’t appropriate for the print fair as a separate sewage should be applied in the saloons.

17th Tehran International Print and Packaging Fair is slated to run September 13-16, 2010 in the permanent grounds of Tehran International Fairs.
