Book Browse Ten Revolution Poets
Reading a page of a book out of thousands and millions of pages is, for us, like looking through a window on brighter side of the world that is constantly calling us, tempting us to set on a journey with the frigate of a book for more and more adventures... II
We said that Qeysar Aminpour’s popularity was because of his balance and comprehensiveness. It seems that he was a conservative, astute and visionary poet who avoided taking risks and instead attempted to equally work on all aspects of his poetry.
Consider for instance the poetic form. Qeysar has written Qazals, Nimai free verses, prose poetry, quatrains, Ruba’i, Masnavi, etc. that is, almost all current poetic forms of his time. Each form has its own potentials for certain subject matters; therefore, the poet can add variety of style and subject matter to hsi work by taking different forms. Simultaneously, different audiences with various tastes and interests can find their desired forms in his body of works.
Collectivity is also seen in his tone, topic choices and themes. The poet composed sociopolitical poems along with lyrical and descriptive ones while he also had metaphysical concerns – but that will be discussed later.
Among his generation of poets, Qeysar is not the best lyric poet, neither is he the best composer of Masnavi or Ruba’i. Likewise he neither has the strongest language, the mightiest imagination, thought, nor cultural background. Yet he is the only one who could gather up all these aspects in one place to a satisfactory level and he is definitely unique in this task. Qeysar Aminpour’s poetic conduct has resulted in well-structured poetry. From practical point of view, ‘well-structured-ness’ means nothing but comprehensiveness and coordination.
