  Bartimaeus trilogy to be released

Bartimaeus, a fantasy series by Jonathan Stroud will soon be marketed in Iran. The collection is rendered into Persian by Mohammad Ghasa.
IBNA: To be released by Ofogh publication, Bartimaeus is a fantasy series consisting of a trilogy published from 2003 to 2005 and a prequel novel published in 2010.

The titular character, Bartimaeus, is a five-thousand-year-old djinni. The story follows the career of a teenage magician Nathaniel and the alternative history of the peak of London's power as a magical oligarchy, through the eyes of the djinni Nathaniel first summons.

The books in this series are The Amulet of Samarkand, The Golem's Eye and Ptolemy's Gate.

Jonathan Anthony Stroud (27 October 1970, Bedford, England) is an author of fantasy books, mainly for children and young adults.

The Amulet of Samarkand was among the top 10 fantasy books for youths in 2004.

Mohammad Ghasa has also translated "Beast Quest" and "Heaven Makers" into Persian.
