Released Theories of possible US-Iran war
US-Iran Strategic Confrontations; Iran’s Tools to Counter a Possible US Assault is the title of a book recently published by Hoormazd in Iran. The book analyzes the latest modern war theories and strategies in a possible war between the two countries. IBNA: The work is arranged in 400 pages and begins with an introduction by Alireza Azghandi, Beheshti University lecturer of international relations.
Mojtaba Taghavi-rad and Nima Rezaei have authored the book. The work’s content are written based on a strategic point of view based on theoretical concepts and thinking.
Almost all modern war theories are covered and assessed in the book including theories proposed by Sun Tzu, Jomini and Clausewitz.
Based on the book, the US preferred to Jomini’s views to those of Clausewitz in its second war against Iraq; this is while in the first Gulf war it sought Clausewitz’s theories.
US-Iran Strategic Confrontations will be displayed at the 25th Tehran International Book Fair by Hoormazd.
