IBNA: Tajik author, Shah Mirza Khajeh Mohammad who is currently visiting Iran, told IBNA's journalist that Hafez is the most famous Persian poet in Soviet Union countries and Tajikistan.
The Tajik author and researcher said that among Soviet Union countries Hafez enjoys an eminent stance since nowadays still they put Hafez's Diwan under children's bedside in order to protect them. He added that Hafez's Diwan is almost kept as holy books and almost every house and family possesses one.
He went on to say that most of the poet's ghazal's are sung by singers. Many Tajik get to know Hafez from their elementary school and by heart the poems for ever.
Moreover Shah Mirza Khajeh Mohammad added that many research and scientific works have been accomplished on Hafez's living style and city. Most of the works are penned by noted scholars including late professor Sharif jan Hussein zadeh, A'la khan Afsah zad, Khalegh Mirza zadeh, Abdul-nabi Sattar zadeh, Hzaee Shariff zadeh, Mirza Mola-ahmadov and etc…the works hold poems composed by Hafez.
The works are mostly penned on Hafez poem's features, the influence of Hafez's poems on other poets, the poems translation in Soviet Union Countries, the rhymes as well as his ghazals.
Hafez's ghazal has a great magic which sprinkles hope to its readers. His poem's main character is his word's elegance which is allocated to Hafez so far.
According to the author, the poems are very spiritual and graceful since Quranic concepts have been utilized in it.
Talking about Central Asia's oral and folklore sources he added that Tajik Muslims believe that in End Time God will pick the Quran form the ground and then the people will say their prayers with pure ghazals which are full of mysticism. Although the story is far from the truth but verifies the impact of God's words on the poems and its influence on Central Asia's people.
Shah Mirza Khajeh Mohammad zadeh has been working in noted Tajik journals. Currently he has traveled to Iran in order to visit historical and tourism sites.
In poetry, the ghazal is a poetic form consisting of couplets which share a rhyme and a refrain. Each line must share the same meter. Etymologically, the word literally refers to "the mortal cry of a gazelle". The animal is caled Ghizaal, from which the English word gazelles stems, or Kastori haran (where haran refers to deer) in Urdu. Ghazals are traditionally expressions of love, separation and loneliness, for which the gazelle is an appropriate image. A ghazal can thus be understood as a poetic expression of both the pain of loss or separation and the beauty of love in spite of that pain. Id : 72998 |
