The session of “Open doors, inter-cultural trips” will be held in the cultural center of Book City. The meeting will be on common points of Iran and Spain’s cultural and literature joints in fields as literature, philosophy, music, history and Art.

IBNA: Figures as Gholamreza A’avani, Mir Jalal- udin Kazazi, Daryoush Pirniakan, Hassan Shafti (President of Iran and Spain’s friendship association) and Leopoldo Stampa Pineiro (Spain’s ambassador to Iran) will attend the meeting.

Since long times ago, Iran and Spain have had cultural and social communications, however there is no clear information on Iran-Spain’s 800 year old cultural and scientific heritage. The cultural center of the Book City has planned to hold a session on assessing and analyzing the countries’ cultural and literature joint points.

Miguel Delibes Setién is a Spanish novelist who received many precious literary awards. So far 10 Spanish authors have bagged the Literature Nobel Prize; “Octavio Paz” (1990), Camilo José Cela (1989), Gabriel García Márquez (1982), Vicente Aleixandre(1977), Pablo Neruda (1971), Miguel Angel Asturias(1967), Juan Ramón Jiménez(1956), Gabriela Mistral (1945), Jacinto Benavente (1922) and José Echegaray Y Eizaguirre (1904).

Cooperating with Iran and Spain’s friendship association, the session will be held 12th Jan at 4:30pm in the cultural center of the Book City.
