The manager of Majlis library's doc's center said that the articles of the 3rd specialized session of Majlis History will be published. The 1st and 2nd edition's articles have been released as books and the articles of the 3rd session will be printed by end of summer.

IBNA: The 3rd specialized session of Majlis history was held on Tuesday, May 15, which was attended by head of the Majlis library Hojatoleslam Rasul Jafarian, Hojatoleslam Doaee and a group of historians.

The session's secretary Ali Tatari presented a report of the session saying the 3rd conference was more specialized than the previous ones and according to the ratification of the scientific committee in 1390, the 3rd session hosted the 13th-16th editions of the Majlis. The 4th meeting will be held on the 17th and 18th periods.

Following the call, we considered to attract 400 scientific and research centers in the fields of history, political sciences, law and economy and we would have liked the participation of other provinces as well, he noted.

He then talked about honoring the figures that donated documents and added:" Last year we paid tribute to the donors and some three years ago 144 doc's collections were purchased for the center."

Last year 12 collections were donated to the Majlis of which the works of Farmanfarmayan's family were the best. Till the previous week 30,000 documents were donated by the family and according to the agreement made between the center and the family, all the scanned documents will be handed over to the family and the original work will be held in the center, he added.

In other news, he said that 160 articles were submitted to the conference of which 93 were accepted. 60% of the researchers were men while 21% were women. Moreover 90% of the submitted works were in the field of history and the other works were related to political sciences.

Most of the works were themed on Mohammad reza Pahlavi and Mohammad Mosadegh.
