Indians read works on Iran’s contemporary literature
Ten books on contemporary Iranian literature have been recently published in Urdu and Hindi languages in India. IBNA: According to the public relations office and information center of the Islamic Culture and Relations Office (ICRO), the works are titled as the Love Alley, the Little Spring’s Journey, the Golden Cup, A Rainy Day, the Secret of the Red Pomegranate, a Breath to Spring, the Third Missed One, That Strange Night, Farewell Brother, and A Mirror of Sounds.
The translators of the works chose the works as they wished; in other words, the translators chose the works from among a number of other ones that the organization offered to them, asserted Alireza Ghazveh, manager of the New Delhi Research Center.
Most of the published works are works of fiction so far as conversion of poetry pieces is a much more difficult task, he added. Among the released works, there is only one that deals with compositions of 20 Islamic Revolution poets.
He went on to say that other works of the collection deals issues like children, adolescents, women and the Sacred Defense literature. Id : 135666 |
