  How to Heal a Broken Wing?

Iranian author and translator of children's books, Parvin Ali-pour has translated "How to Heal a Broken Wing?" into Persian. The illustrated book will be released by Soroush.
IBNA: Ali-pour has translated and authored over 90 books for children and young adults. Currently she has rendered "How to Heal a Broken Wing?" into Persian which will be released by Soroush.

Talking about the book she told IBNA's TEEN service that the book is authored by Bob Graham who illustrated the book as well. Bob Graham (born 1942) is an Australian children's author and illustrator. His books include Max, which won the Nestlé Smarties Book Prize Gold Award, Jethro Byrd, Fairy Child, which won the Kate Greenaway Medal and "Let's Get a Pup! Said Kate", which won the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award.

Many of his books have won Children's Book Council of Australia awards.

The translator said that the author wrote the book in order to make the children familiar with affection. He tries to tell the children that although war and cruelty exists throughout the world but still life goes on with love and affection.
