  Ethical Dictionary of the Infallibles

Seyyedeh Masoumeh Esmailpour

17 May 2012 13:32
Reading a page of a book out of thousands and millions of pages is, for us, like looking through a window on brighter side of the world that is constantly calling us, tempting us to set on a journey with the frigate of a book for more and more adventures...
Historical Attraction and Repulsion

The attractions and repulsions of the characters of holy prophets and men of God are so influential that could be regarded as models for all humanity and throughout the history, as their attractions as well as repulsions result from their compassion for all human beings and according to truth that is beyond human relations. That is, they did not feel any need - of the type of human beneficial needs - and were drawn to perpetual divine sources; they were but beams of infinite heavenly power.

On the other hand, they are the touchstones of attraction and repulsion for other human beings as they are the best exemplifications of God's representatives on the earth and closest to God's essence in terms of beauty and grandeur. The key to the eternity of these divine figures has been their constant connection with God as they have never refuted to worship and obey Him. And that is exactly the reason for our attraction to Imams and other infallible figures; it is because of their connection with God and since it is an eternal bondage, the people's love and interest in them is also eternal.
