Quranic terms assessed based on new morphology references
A number of researchers at Tehran university have recently completed a research on the meaning of Quranic terms based on the latest linguistic findings. IBNA: Analysis of a number of Quranic terms is the title of a book published based on the research, said Mahsa Kalanaki, information manager of Jahad Daneshgahi Publications Organization, in an interview with IBNA.
“The researchers have tried to find more updated equivalents for the terms in Persian language besides the usages of the terms to provide a new reference for the meaning of Quranic terms in today’s society,” she added.
As she said, work on the book began in 2008 in the presence of language experts Maryam Ghasem Ahmad, Neda Khoshghani and Mahmoud Makvand. The project was aimed at producing a precise and methodical assessment of old morphological contexts based on the latest linguistic findings.
She further named the researchers wo were engaged in completion of the work who were all led by Master Azartash Azarnoush.
She also stated that the book will be displayed at 25th Tehran International Book Fair with a %10 discount for visitors. The book published by Tehran University press. Id : 134855 |
